Why 940 Argentium Silver?

Most conventional sterling silver contains 92.5% silver. Pistolis primarily uses 940 Argentium Silver, which contains 94% silver.

A Brighter, Lower-Maintenance Silver

Argentium was developed to provide a naturally bright appearance and greater resistance to tarnish than traditional sterling silver without relying on surface plating.

Honest Expectations

Argentium is still genuine silver. It will collect fingerprints, fine scratches and ordinary surface wear through normal use. It can be cleaned, polished and refinished when needed.

Care

Store your jewelry dry, avoid harsh chemicals and use a soft jewelry cloth for routine cleaning. Remove heavier pieces before activities that could crush, stretch or deeply scratch them.
