THE MATERIAL
Argentium Silver 940, made for a brighter daily-wear finish.
Most silver jewelry is made in conventional sterling silver. Pistolis works primarily in Argentium Silver 940, a higher-purity silver alloy chosen for its bright white appearance, stronger tarnish resistance, and improved durability for everyday wear.
Argentium gives silver a more elevated look while staying solid, wearable, and made for real daily use. It resists tarnishing better than standard sterling, keeps a brighter appearance with normal care, and can be polished and refreshed over time without needing plating to achieve its bright white finish.
More silver than conventional sterling, giving each piece a stronger precious-metal foundation.
Argentium has a naturally bright white appearance, giving the jewelry a sharper, cleaner look without needing plating.
Argentium resists tarnishing better than standard sterling silver, helping the piece stay brighter with less upkeep.
After proper heat hardening, Argentium can reach greater hardness than standard sterling, helping the piece better hold up to everyday wear.
THE WORKSHOP
Made in a small San Diego studio.
Pistolis Jewelry is produced in small batches, with each piece handled through fabrication, fitting, finishing, and final inspection in the same workshop.
Keeping the process small allows for closer attention to proportion, construction, and finish.
